The technique that I use in training horses is a streamlined one. I believe that a strong "horse/human" relationship is the foundation of truly successful horse training that lasts a horse's lifetime. By getting to know the language of horses, how to understand their actions and body language and more, it becomes fairly simple to develop your training skills. It is possible to have a versatile, well-trained, agreeable, and athletic horse that will respond to your requests and have a long, healthy, enjoyable life. The articles posted in my topic will help you achieve that.
I have lived around and worked with horses my entire life, and learned how to ride when I was a small child. At an early age, I began to develop my own training style based upon my experience of what works and what doesn't. During college I majored in the Equine Sciences, and began giving training and riding lessons. I enjoy helping other riders overcome obstacles and learning from others to constantly improve my own technique.
As a professional writer, I had my first book published in November 2005. Sunny Bear's Rainy Day, a children's picture book, was beautifully illustrated by the Harvey Award nominated artist Noel Tuazon and is available on Amazon.com. The book is the first published in a series of children's books that will continue soon. I write many other genres as well, including fantasy, crime fiction, and westerns, as well as in the comic book and graphic novel medium.
